Why we Worked with Them
Ok ok, this was the only time we sold out purely because Raid Shadow Legends was such a meme at the time, and you couldn’t class yourself a Real YouTuber’ unless you did an ad read for Raid. So we did it, made it obvious we were taking the piss, RAID still loved it as did our audience, and it was a win all round!

Long Term Opinions
While we don’t see ourselves pulling a stunt like this again, it does highlight a contrast between us taking on sponsors related to woodworking, and those who aren’t. As best summed up by this comment.

For example, I’m totally open to anyone sponsoring a series on the Free Online Woodworking School. As long as their product/service or idea is genuine, of decent quality, and they have a track record of good customer service. Where I will always read carefully however is sponsors closer to my channel topic of woodworking.
