I absolutely love this tape measure and have used it for almost my entire furniture making career.
While it takes some getting used to, the inbuilt features such as the marking gauge and diameter measurer can get you out of some real sticky problems in and around the workshop.
What's more, it's incredibly robust, very accurate, and easily fits into your pocket.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for working on rough material as the hook is quite small. It's much better suited for sheet goods and pre-dimensioned pieces where you're working across flat faces.
