3M Pre-Cut Sharpening Film

Adhesive-backed abrasive film available in eight micron grades and two sheet sizes.

Useful when you don't need a full sheet. Especially when working the small glass plate.

3M Sharpening Film

Achieve a sharp, clean cutting edge on your chisels and plane blades with 3M Sharpening Film. This adhesive-backed abrasive film mounts onto a glass plate to create a flat sharpening surface for your woodworking tools.

Whether you’re refining a bevel or putting the finishing touches on an edge, choose the micron grade that suits your sharpening process. Work progressively through finer grades to remove scratches left by the previous abrasive and refine the cutting edge.

Simple to fit and replace

Choose a pre-cut strip to suit your glass plate, trim further if needed, peel away the backing and apply it to a clean surface. When the abrasive wears out, replace the film and keep using the same plate.
