A roll of good-quality double-sided tape is one of those workshop essentials you'll find yourself reaching for time and time again.
Manufactured by tesa, this tape is quick and easy to apply and bonds exceptionally well to a wide range of materials, including wood, metal, plastics, painted surfaces and varnished finishes. The thick adhesive layer provides excellent grip, even on rough surfaces, with a strong initial tack and impressive long-term holding power.
Designed to withstand demanding workshop conditions, it's resistant to temperature extremes, humidity, UV exposure, chemicals and solvents. Best of all, it can be torn by hand, making it quick and convenient to use whenever you need it.
Whether you're holding parts in place during assembly or positioning templates, this is a genuinely useful addition to any workshop.

An excellent week of woodworking.
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Matt is a natural teacher and gave each individual as much assistance as they needed, but without ever being intrusive.
Most people took the opportunity to ask him about things beyond the course itself, such as which tools to buy and how to refine their sharpening technique, and Matt was more than happy to share his knowledge and opinions.
All materials for the box are provided, however I decided to swap out the standard hinges for the SmartHinges featured in Episode 6 of the Keepsake Box series on Matt's Free Online Woodworking School YouTube channel. If you want to go on the course and do this, you will need to buy them in advance and Matt will be happy to guide you through their installation.
The best aspect of the course for me was being able to spend a whole week working on something I enjoy in the company of people with similar interests. Three of us were staying at the very nice Furze Inn, just up the road from Matt's workshop, so we met for drinks and food in the evenings. I thought of it more as a holiday than a course.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their woodworking skills, and I am hoping Matt will lay on future courses to build other items, so I will have opportunities to go on more woodworking holidays!

I had a great week making my beautiful keepsake box. I learned a lot! It’s good watching the videos but learning in real life was an incredible experience and brought my skills up indescribably.
I’m so proud of how the box turned out!
I highly recommend the course. It’s lots of fun too.

My new favorite marking knife!
This marking knife is amazing and completely worth the cost. It’s beautiful, fits perfectly in your hand, and has a good weight to it. I’ve also noticed an improvement in my marking layouts, especially dovetails. Can’t wait to see what else Matt makes!
