This is a double sided sanding block designed for final detail sanding prior to finishing. The cork face is designed for flat surfaces where a small amount of cushioning allows you to sand a surface evenly. The opposite side features a tough neoprene rubber face which is perfect for narrow edges that you want to maintain as a flat surface and prevent pillowing.

Both the cork and the neoprene provide a perfect amount of grip for the sandpaper which reduces fatigue on your hands during use. Additionally, a small radius is routed on either side of the block which both provides comfort, and naturally pulls the sandpaper in tight against the face of the block.

Each block is made from quarter sawn/rift sawn Oak with a laser engraved logo on the endgrain, which provides durability, stability and perhaps most importantly for poser tool snobs like myself, beauty.

We recommend pairing this sanding block with Mirka Proflex Sandpaper.
