Why we Worked with Them
At the time of taking on this agreement with Laserpecker, we had no lasers in the workshop and didn’t really know how helpful they would be to us. So this seemed like a nice low risk collaboration that allows us to explore the possibilities of lasering, without going all in on it.

During our initial testing, we enjoyed using the laser and even began pushing its limits while engraving brass. While some of the UI features could have done with some improvements, overall we were left with a positive impression, and in particular saw its potential for portable laser engraving. However for our needs at the time, we found it to be a bit underpowered.

Long Term Opinions
Having since sourced an XTool P2 and a Cloudray Fibre Laser, we figured the LP4 would be completely redundant. However that has recently changed with the production of our Sanding Blocks and Bench hooks. Because we realised that it is far easier and quicker to brand these items using the Laserpecker, rather than the XTool P2 where head clearance and alignment becomes an issue.
