My new favorite marking knife!

This marking knife is amazing and completely worth the cost. It’s beautiful, fits perfectly in your hand, and has a good weight to it. I’ve also noticed an improvement in my marking layouts, especially dovetails. Can’t wait to see what else Matt makes!

You Need This!

This protrusion stop is the product honing guide manufacturers should have made all along but I'm very happy Matt and company did so. Creating something that actually works is so rare these days but I'm so happy Matt did. If you want consistent sharpening results along with a way to do so quickly and easily, just buy the version of this product that matches your honing guide. Seriously. Buy it!

It’s just what I needed.
The learning curve lets you know the bottom magnets will lift your bench dog hole plugs out of the bench top. Now working in a different area problem solved.

Can’t recommend this course enough! A great day that was packed full of learning and advice whilst feeling relaxed and welcoming. Matt is as good a host as he is a teacher and I came away with lots of things that will transfer to other joinery I’m sure.
Shout out to Rob too for showing some of the cool laser cutting process and complimenting the relaxed vibe of the day.
Can’t wait to do another course as they appear!

These work perfectly!

These work perfectly! I had actually given up on attempting mitres with hand tools, as it was just too frustrating, but I just managed to make my first absolutely perfect mitre joint. Extremely satisfying :)
Just make sure to use a solid and strong clamp, to prevent the guide from slipping back under pressure, especially when working on hard wood. As my clamp wasn't doing the job, my solution was to place a thin anti-slip mat between workpiece and guide. This solved the problem perfectly for me.
