Keepsake Box - Project Pack

Excellent quality doesn’t come cheap, but it is totally worth it!
The pack was delivered in good time and to a very high standard.. I made a bit of a mess with the order in regards of the ‘coin’, but rob picked up on it and the communication was excellent!! Now it is down to me to mess it up.. 😇🪚🔨

This was a last minute purchase for a project/gift special friend, well okay my good lady wife, who just happens to be my special friend! The package arrived earlier than expected and in good order, being very well packed, which is just as well, as the postie had seen fit to chuck it into the middle of a neighbouring road. Despite its adventures, it surprisingly arrived with just a few scrapes and dings to the packing, but with perfectly fine contents. While these packs do avoid the need for the initial machining, the final preparation is still necessary in order to commence the project. As such, the packs represent good value while ensuring you save time making sure all the necessary parts are properly assembled.
I would heartily recommend any hobbyist or enthusiastic would be wood worker definitely consider these packs for their special friend… :)

The Keepsake Box course was a great introduction to fine woodworking which was great fun and taught me so much despite having already been woodworking for two decades.
Matt is a great teacher, always able to explain things properly and answer any other questions we had about woodworking generally.
I would highly recommend the box course as an introduction to woodworking to learn the basic skills properly.

Cannot praise these projects more highly! Quality is outstanding and coupled with the free video lessons I haven’t found anything to match them. Highly recommended!

Hi, sorry, but for now I have to give a low rating simply because, after one and a half months, the package still hasn't arrived. In my opinion, this is extremely serious. I understand customs delays and everything else, but this is unacceptable.

I found this kit very good value when combined with the free online instruction videos. The provided material is of good quality and having small kids it’s a great way to spend more time cutting joinery and less time on stock prep.

I have just completed the Keepsake Box in oak - another great project. As always the kit was complete and by watching excerpts from other project series as well as the YouTube videos it was straightforward to follow.

On this occasion one of the pieces of Maple for the liners was rather uneven. When I asked for advice about smoothing this out, I was immediately supplied with a replacement piece.

The Project series has really enabled me to grow in confidence in woodworking at home. I am so grateful to Matt and am already planning which Project to attack next.

The Keepsake Box Project Pack is exactly as described, but better. The wood itself was all grade A. All of the pieces of wood were perfectly milled with no irregularities. There is a comprehensive online video guide to walk you through the whole process of making the box if needed. Being new to woodworking, I feel much better about the project having someone guide me in the right direction if my skills are not up to par on any part. The project pack was well packaged and shipped out quickly. I'm looking forward to getting started on it!

Came as hoped and expected. Apart from a little bit of snipe(?) on the end of one side it was all good. What wasn’t? - me. Rushed it, messed it, set my sights on a smaller box, rushed that, messed it. Pondering now. As I say I wish I was as good as the pack.

Easy to order, great support, fair the project build, with videos available to give support through the whole project, this is my second project for a keepsake box and I'm looking forward to completing it.

This is a fantastic way to get the right timber for the projects available, easy to order, with full video, available, of the build and written support pages with the order. It's just so well thought out, Im looking forwards to completing my projects and moving onto my next order.

I’m so excited. This box kit is beautiful. High quality, Deep red cherry wood expertly cut and planed. All the hardware is included. I can’t wait to put it together following Matt’s instruction. I plan on learning so I can make more boxes.
