What are ‘Mystery Material Pucks’ we hear you ask?
Well, thankfully they’re nice and simple.
Any materials that we use to make our plane screwdrivers leave behind a base during the turning process. This base is the ‘puck’.
Given that none of us here in the workshop have the patience to list all the variations of pucks on the website, we decided to make a mystery box.
The mystery box contains 10 randomly selected pucks. Guaranteed to contain at least 3 different types of material from the following list:
- Snakewood
- Masur Birch
- Pink Ivory
- Purpleheart
- Olivewood
- Sappy Ziricote
- Ziricote
- Cocobolo
- Ebony
- Padauk
- Tulipwood
- Kingwood
- Desert Ironwood
- Zebrano
- Cherry
- Walnut
- Bubinga
- Maple
So yeah… that’s pretty much it. Help us put to use the offcuts from the workshop and get yourself a mystery box of pucks with your next order!

Material dimensioned to approximately 50mm x 50mm x 10-20mm. The height is measured at the shortest side as seen in the image with the rule. Please note all ‘pucks’ have an approximately 17mm deep piercing alongside 4 small divots in the base as seen in the third image.
The image used showcases example pucks.
