This is a material pack for you to create your very own book stand… or tablet stand depending on which generation you want to align with.

This project pack consists of:

2 x Horizontal Rails
3 x Vertical Stiles
1 x Shelf
1 x Leg and Pivot Tabs
1 x Hardware Pack (Wingnuts, bolts etc)

This is an entry level project that is great for practicing your layout skills as well as half lapped dovetails. It’s very forgiving as many of the joints are hidden on the back of the frame. However you also have the choice of orienting them on the front if you’re feeling confident.

Upon completion of this project, we recommend progressing to the Dovetail Box Project which can be a further test of your skills in dovetailing, while also providing you with a functional and beautiful finished result.

Parts are supplied oversized to be cut down and squared according to the dimensions listed on the plans.

Important Information

To avoid us machining packs to order, we aggregate orders over the duration of 30 days so they can be machined in one large batch. This allows us to be more efficient with material and our time, which in turn brings the cost to you down significantly.

At the end of the countdown, the orders from that month will be machined and sent out a few days later. If you miss the countdown, your order will be sent at the end of the following month.
