How to Edge Joint Boards

You will often need to make up a certain width by gluing panels together. In this video, I show you how to do get everything aligned as well as flushed off after assembly.

This lessons objectives:

  • Orienting grain patterns for stability
  • Gluing panels together
  • Reflattening surfaces
  • Checking and adjusting overall flatness

My preference for gluing up panels and carcasses of all sizes are Parallel Jaw Clamps. You can find out more about them in my clamping section on kit.
